The Competitors breakdown lists other brands AI mentioned in the same answers. If a rival keeps showing up in questions where you do not, they own that part of the conversation. The fewer names that outrank you, the more you own the topic.
Sources — why they win
The Sources breakdown shows the websites AI leaned on for its answers. This is the real leverage: if a review site, directory or publication cites your competitor and not you, that is the gap. Those are the pages AI already trusts — and they are pointing at someone else.
